TASTING NOTES
A tightly-wound balance of minerality and citrus, evolving over time into a denser expression of wildflowers, honey and ripe pear. Its tannic structure and acidic backbone lend it not only immediate impact, but also a long life.

Straw yellow with golden shades. (2015 Vespa Bianco) opens to the nose with refined aromas of white flowers, tropical fruit, apples, beeswax, chalk and hints of salinity and oak. The palate is elegant, rich in aromas, perfectly balanced between freshness, body and flavour. Long and lively persistence.

Bibenda Guide, Italian Sommelier Foundation

A full-bodied white with aromas of apple, pear and apricot. From the oily consistency, it is a fruity wine with a good freshness. Final full of dried fruit.

James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com

It gains intensity and complexity with the aeration, it offers aromas of yellow apple, pear and nocepesca, supplemented by hints of botanical herbs and minerality. The final sapid aftertaste is animated by a hint of pepato ginger. A Vespa Bianco that is very promising. To age for at least three more years.

Ian D'agata, Vinous Media (vinousmedia.com)

The Vespa Bianco is a landmark, symbol of the immense winemaking and oenological potential of the region. Beautiful wealth and opulence. Aromas of stone fruit, honey, lemon jam and toasted almond.
