The wine we drink has a rich history, it is part of a deep-rooted tradition and sometimes travels the whole world to get to our table.

The Bastianich winery, founded in 1997, consists of 27 hectares of vineyards. All the vineyards are located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in two distinct areas within the DOC zone.

Terraced hillside vineyards with a rich history

With more than 2000 years of winemaking history, Colli Orientali is the pinnacle of quality wine in Friuli Venezia Giulia, both white and red.
Of the two hillsde regions of Friuli, Colli Orientali is the most diverse. Various aspects to the sun and numerous microclimates render wines of character that communicate terroir with exciting variations on similar themes.

NATURALLY GOOD

The vineyards are cultivated with hard work and dedication, fully respecting the rhythms of nature. Cultivation practices in the vineyard are aimed at preserving as much as possible the vine and the soil on which it is planted.
This sustainability is also reflected in the choice of vine varieties planted, aimed at enhancing the value of native vines such as Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schioppettino.
